The Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies has been serving the academic and business communities in the support of entrepreneurship since 1989. Nationally recognized as a Top 50 program by Success and Entrepreneur magazines, the Institute's mission is to foster entrepreneurship through innovative academic and outreach programs. Academic programs include a comprehensive curriculum on both undergraduate and graduate levels. Outreach programs include the Family Business Forum, the Female Entrepreneurs’ Alliance, the Business Enterprise Forum seminar program, Executive Training workshops and courses, and the Business Plan Development program that partners MBA students with businesses, start-ups and non-profits. Annual recognition programs include the Richard M. Clarke Distinguished Entrepreneurial Lecture Series, the Family Business of the Year Awards, the NJ Female Entrepreneur Lecture and the East Coast Collegiate Entrepreneur Awards program. In addition, the Institute coordinates the Discover Business Teen Camp for 9-12 graders and the NJ Business Idea Competition for high school students.
